Competition time                        Competition time                       Competition time

Now that it's been a few weeks I am getting uninspired (bored) by the look of our title.

Knowing how artistic and creative Year 3 are, I am certain we could create something much more exciting to look at. If lots of you send in competition entries, I will keep changing the image.

It must still say 'HOME LEARNING AUSTRALIA CLASS' but I am sure it could look much more exciting and inviting.

Go on artists - show off your skills - competition ends 22nd May

Tapestry and uploading work.

Although you may have received details for Tapestry, please if you wish to upload work, continue to send it to me via email as many of you have been doing for the past weeks and where I then subsequently continue to copy it into the eportfolios I built for your child. At present I have no need to use a different system and apologise for any inconvenience and we will continue to celebrate work on this webpage.

Expectations

Whilst the following web page is meant as a portal for you to support your child at home during this challenging time, we want you to understand that you take from it whatever and however much you wish. All of us are dealing with incredibly difficult and challenging times and we know the level of support and learning each child will be able to do at home will vary incredibly. Please pick and choose from the activities as you wish and are able, do not feel there is any obligation to do any or all of the activities.

The very best wishes to you and your family.

Weekly Learning Tasks

In Year 3 we are going to continue to provide daily/weekly lesson plans, resources and ideas based loosely around what would have been taught if we were back in school. In addition to this, we now have access to the Government's daily teaching resources and BBC Bitesize. We want you to feel free to pick and choose what best suits and supports your home learning set up. We would be very interested to gain feedback if you use the two resources and please, if you wish, continue to send examples of activities (even screen shots) for the children's eportfolio.

THE SPECSAVERS 'VIRTUAL' SCHOOL GAMES 2020

Well done those of you that took part in last week's Hockey challenges and uploaded your scores. Together we achieved a great score and are currently 15th out of 250 schools - AMAZING!
